Helllloooooo
Hey tumblr I keep forgetting about! Hopefully i’ll update more soon. I’ve grown so much in the past while. Photography still on my mind everyday, I explore all the time. In my mind and with my camera. I started a website if you’d like to see its called Soulography.biz
Needless to say, I changed my major to photography and it has been my greatest experience yet.
I’m setting new goals to shoot all the time. like all the time. :) the idea of doing photo things all day makes me so happy.
I’ve been exploring starlight and macro photography. Hopefully pics to come.
Anyway just a quick update hope to get some shots up soon :)
Clouds
Sometimes I feel so foreign, I must see things that other people don’t. I look up at the clouds and feel so lucky to be alive.
There was a meteor shower the other night and the clouds were rolling back lit across the sky… they were so dense in places they drowned out the full moon that spilled this magical light all over everything. The light was so bright it was almost like daytime when the clouds covered you could see shadow chasing the light all over the misty beach.
I don’t understand why I feel alone in enjoying an experience like that. It made me feel so alive, so humbled by the power of nature.
Discover Your Art
Discovering my art has given me this beautiful quench to a thirst I didn’t realize I had. I can open into this free flow of feelings and (at least attempt) to express then in a way that represents my stage in life just in that once instance. Maybe we’re standing right next to each other, maybe we’re not, but maybe I see an entirely different world. Ive discovered how to recognize and examine how I feel and for what reasons in a much more clear way now. I know more about really living and allowing myself to be human now more than at any other time in my life. Its the closest step to true fulfillment i’ve ever known.
I am so thankful for this life!

So I went exploring Florida parks. Found some amazing stuff at Big Talbot Island. Of course I went early. Was planning on being lost a little longer. So the lighting wasnt exactly as I hoped until the very end. There were other trees on the bank casting huge shadows on the driftwood, didnt consider that element…
As with everything I run into these unexpected challenges. I knew I needed to shoot this so I really concentrated on the water. I used super slow shutter speeds for hand held because these waves were small and slow. Pretty proud of myself for sharp 1/15th of a second. (-:
I had an amazing time. I got in the zone and got wet.

I loved a lot of them at first viewing now I’m not really that into them. I feel like a lot of them are kind of lame. It’s all in the discovery and loads of trial and error
anyway Idk if I set this up so the four of you can comment, but let me know what you think.
Oh and I did post a few that are very similar but to me very different at the same time. let me know which is best because naturally I can’t choose.
